About

North Texas Hardwood is owned and operated by my wife, Barbara and I. We are in Wichita Falls, Texas. We build craft items for use around the house. We use mostly Mesquite, Pecan, Mulberry, Bradford Pear and other trees that are native to North Texas. We do, occasionally purchase acrylic turning blanks for use on items such as bottle stoppers/openers and handles for kitchen utensils that are used around water.

The majority of the wood we use is from local ranches and developers. They clear the land of all the trees, pile it up and burn it. We also purchase wood/logs from local tree services. These trees would otherwise end up as firewood or be thrown in the land fill.

Everything that we build is unique and one of a kind. All the wood we rescue is milled into lumber, slabs, turning blanks. mantels, or beams.

We can also build custom items from our lumber or yours. If you have a tree that has special meaning, maybe you and a parent planted it 20 years ago, send us a piece and will make a pepper mill or whatever you want.
